Using the Earthworks PM40 Piano Mic system is easy. First, find a good spot near the piano where you want to capture the sound. Place the microphone in position and connect it to your recording device according to the instructions in the manual. When using it, avoid placing the mic too close to sharp sounds or vibrations that could distort the audio. For maintenance, keep the hardshell case clean and dry. After each use, carefully put the microphone back in the case. If the microphone gets dirty, use a soft, dry cloth to gently wipe it. Don't use any harsh chemicals as they might damage the mic. Check the connections regularly to make sure they are secure.
